SITUATED IN CENTRAL Glen Innes, The Makers Shed at 123 Grey Street is the central hub of High Country Books. This creative studio-gallery is the only indie bookshop selling new titles in a 100-kilometre radius, and is open from Wednesdays to Saturdays between 10am to 4pm.

The Makers Shed is the home of the High Country Book Club, which meets on the morning of the third Saturday of every month to discuss a range of fiction and non-fiction titles. Our writer’s group meets there too, during the afternoon of the same day.
